Sarah Nicole Baker (born September 21, 1990) is a former contestant on Endurance 3: Hawaii. She competed alongside her partner, Reece Bors, as the Purple Team. Sarah is a professionally trained dancer, and has steadily been working as a model.

About[]

Sarah was born in Wheaton, Illinois. She attended Longfellow Elementary School and Franklin Middle School, before moving to Downer's Grove. By age four, Sarah was cast in her first play, The Wizard of Oz. She continued appearing in plays, and had dreams of modeling and acting. At age thirteen, the Baker family moved to Downer's Grove, IL in order to give Sarah the opportunity to attend more auditions.

Endurance[]

In the Casting Special. Sarah described how her friend said she was so unique, with a "weird personality". Another audition tape showed Sarah in her room, telling about her unique sense of style. After submitting the final audition tape, Sarah was told that before making a decision, they would need to tape a day in her life in order to get a better feel of her personality. However, this was all a ruse. Sarah had actually already been selected, and was surprised by JD Roth with the news while eating lunch with her family.

Once on the island, Sarah was one of the fourteen contestants to survive the Right to Stay. The next day, she was annoyed with how all the boys wanted Lindi for a partner, and how she didn't want Chris or Reece because they would be happier with her. In the Partner selection, she caught the #11 ball, and stood on the Purple circle, which she mistakenly took for pink. Reece chose to be her partner, and they became the Purple Team. While Reece admitted they started off awkwardly but they seemed to get along once they got to know each other a little bit.

Reece and Sarah proved to be a strong team rather quickly as they managed to win the first endurance mission Ring of Fire. They ultimately gave the samadhi to Yellow whom they considered to be the weakest team. Sarah though said in the following episode that everyone found Yellow to be bringing in a lot of negatively. Tom suspected that Sarah, along with the other girls, hated Bryannah for allegedly flirting with the guys too much. In Bagging on You though, Yellow proved them wrong, hitting the target on in the first two rounds despite the Samadhi. In the third round, Purple was eliminated by Brown. Yellow ultimately won the challenge but choose not to send Purple.

In Squaring Off, Purple along with Orange, Gray and Red worked together to put down game pieces on the Yellow, Green and Brown teams. After a while though, Reece convinced Sarah to give Yellow a chance. This almost caused Purple's alliance to lose but Brown gave the power back to Orange and eventually the Yellow-Green-Brown alliance were eliminated from the mission. Purple and Red were ultimately eliminated by Orange who would win the mission after Gray eliminated themselves. Purple was not punished for nearly costing the mission for the alliance as Yellow and Green were sent to temple (with Green getting eliminated).

During Out on a Limb, she and the others were informed that instead of playing for a pyramid piece or samadhi, the winner of that days mission would have the power to divide the 6 teams into two superteams. Sarah, like the girls, sat on the beam while the guys had told on to a rope to try to prevent them from falling into the water. Sarah was giving encouragement to Reece throughout the mission, insisting he could hold on forever, despite some struggles. It came down to Purple and Yellow but Reece just could not hold on any longer, giving Yellow the Win. She was seen hugging Monroe after their win. At the rock, she and Reece admitted that they were wrong to say that Yellow was the weakest team and now consider them a strong team. Because of Purple's strong performance in that mission, Purple was chosen by Yellow to be on their superteam along with Gray. In Bamboo Jungle, while the superteams were neck and neck for a little while, Vanetta got stuck and this allowed Purple's superteam to have a rather easy win. While Sarah was not shown giving much input, it seemed that both Gray and Purple wanted to keep Orange save and send Brown and Red to temple while Yellow wanted to keep Brown safe. The trio of teams ultimately decided to send Red and Brown which later resulted in Red's elimination.

Despite being one of the teams that sent them to temple, Red still claimed Purple was the most trustworthy of the teams and thus gave them their piece, putting purple in first place again, this time with 3 pieces. Sarah said she was happy about being ahead of the other teams. For the Pipeline challenge, the teams learned they were competing for a samadhi that JD claims was one the teams would want to win. Like most of the teams, Purple strugged and could not get a ball in. Gray on the other hand successfully completed the challenge and learned the contents of the samadhi. They could either take all of the pieces from the team of their choice or switch partners. Other teams were discussing that it might be a smart strategic move to target Purple due to their lead. However, Gray took Yellow's two pieces instead, noting they if Purple was eliminated, they would likely give their pieces to Gray anyway. In I'm Pulling For You, Purple at one point seemed to be in the lead but Sarah accidently dropped one of their pieces, allowing Gray to catch up and ultimately win the challenge, surpassing Purple's lead in terms of pyramid pieces. Yellow got the samadhi which prevented them from competing in the Balance Ball temple mission. Purple though narrowly bet Gray to win the mission. Sarah and Lindi afterwords talk with Nicole about who to send. While Sarah says the plan is to send Yellow and Brown, she tells Nicole that Demian said that if he won, he would have sent Gray and Purple which Nicole claims was him likely trying to get himself eliminated. Purple ultimately sticks with their plan to send Yellow and Brown, eliminating the latter in the process.

The next day, she is seen hanging out with Lindi and Nicole. They complaint that their partners seemed to be hanging out more with the Yellow team than them and vow that they need to eliminate them. Yellow however won the next Endurance mission, giving them the power to handicap one of the teams in Sarah's alliance. Purple was spared too as they instead gave it to Gray. In the following temple mission, Purple did poorly as neither Sarah or Reece were able to catch a ball, guaranteeing that Purple couldn't win. Orange caught the winning ball but were celebrating with Yellow. Orange felt that Purple and Gray were so close that they would have sent Orange to temple if either of them won the mission (Sarah confirmed this in a confessional as did Lindi). Thus, Purple and Gray were sent to temple instead of Yellow. Purple was defeated, thus eliminating Sarah and Reece. They left their three pieces to Gray.

Portrayal & Relationships[]

Sarah appeared to care about her looks sometimes, and appeared to be a girly-girl. Even in The Halfway Mark, J.D. jokes about missing being pretty all the time. However, she learned to get dirty like the rest of them.
