All Tied Up

It won't be hard for Taylor to adapt quickly to her rustic Endurance environment and a group of strangers. This outgoing teen has moved many times in her young life, and thus has a knack for quickly making new friends wherever she goes. Her winning strategy for Endurance is to befriend the other players and get them to look to her as a leader. Taylor's all-around athletic skills and strong sense of competition will be helpful too.

"I'm here to show everyone that I can be physical and I'm not just a preppy little girl who's stuck up."
— Taylor in her intro on Balance is the Key

Taylor Sico-McNulty (born May 18, 1992) is a former Endurance: High Sierras contestant. She originally competed alongside Isaac Moody as the Blue Team; after the team switch, she was partnered with Connor Finnegan as the new Blue Team.

Endurance[]

Taylor came up with the idea of the girls voting for who would give the free ride, of which Darci won. Taylor was one of the contestants that made it through the right to stay; being the second girl to complete the task. In the partner selection, she wanted Dakota for a partner, but she hasn't confirmed it to the rest of the group, so they were planning to put her with Garret against her will. This led her to start crying, which irritated the other contestants. They believed if they partnered her with Garret, they would eliminate them quickly.

In the partner game, she was the second person to fall. Afterward, she was partnered with Isaac via Connor and Darci, much to her shock. Before Unwind, she became very happy about her partner choice. In the mission, however, she wanted to get on the Blue platform, while Isaac wanted to be on the Orange platform, leading to an argument. Since Max and Kristine made it onto the Orange platform first, Isaac and Taylor became the Blue Team.

Even though she was in the game, she didn't like Isaac very much, and they argued a lot. However, they won the first Endurance Mission and received the Samadhi, which allows them to switch two partners on any two teams. She made a deal with the Red and Green teams that she would give it to Cameron, and they would be switched, but at the Ridge, Cameron put Connor on the Blue Team, and her teammate Isaac on the Gray Team. Taylor felt betrayed, saying she completely trusted Cameron.

Afterwards, she won Move it Along with Connor, which she was happy about. They strategized alone about who to give the Samadhi to, knowing if they give it to one team, they could make a number of enemies. As a result, they gave the Samadhi to their former teammates on the Gray Team.

In Walk the Plank, she tried to motivate Connor to "be Monroe", but she dropped after forty-five minutes.

When Gray left, while Darci forgave Connor in their letter, Ike told Taylor that she should "exchange a trip to Hawaii for a trip to the Temple of Fate", which shocked her. In Fill and Spill, Taylor was shown dumping water into different buckets, but Blue was the second team eliminated. Later, she lamented on how the competition was starting to become a "popularity contest", which she believed that's not how it should be played out. She also voiced the word when they all met at the Ridge. Blue was placed on the same superteam as Green and Yellow, just as planned.

Taylor was shown talking to Aric in Superboats, irritated with Cealey's close relationship with Dakota. When J.D. announced that only one team would compete in the Superteams mission, Blue Team volunteered to step up for their team. Despite their best efforts, they lost to Purple, and were sent up to the Temple of Fate with Yellow as planned. Taylor was visibly upset, even though she hinted it would come. There, Blue would win in two rounds, and come back to open arms.

As expected, Blue received Yellow's pieces the next day, only to be surprised when another Temple Mission would come that same day. In It's a Drag, Taylor was shown putting the logs under the raft, but they were clearly behind the Green Team, who ended up winning. She was shown playing Rock-Paper-Scissors with Max after the mission, and claiming she was good at that game. However, Max would collaborate with Kristine and Dakota on a plan to tell Taylor of a Temple strategy they might use, only to subvert it and end up getting out. Taylor was suspicious of the plan, because Dakota had lied to her before, and confided in Kelsey that his plan was a ruse. After winning the first round at Temple, Taylor taunted Orange with how lying in the game would not work, only to lose in the second round. When Blue won the third round, Taylor called out Orange for lying, which she also did with Dakota when Blue came back.

In Create Your Own Game, she was shown trying to create a game with the others, agreeing to one where they would toss balls across a race course. She and Connor would win another mission together, though controversy emerged because Cealey noticed how Taylor bumped the ball with her elbow in the middle of the race, and believed she cheated in the process. When Kelsey told Taylor this, the latter started crying, and believed everyone hated her. Because Kelsey was the only one who would talk to her, she tried to persuade Connor to give the Samadhi to Green, which he shot down due to Purple's attempts to get Blue out. She was still visibly upset as Kelsey talked about being friends with her to Cealey and Aeriel, and justifying it by noting Blue's six pieces. At the Ridge, Taylor tried to hide her feelings at the moment, before stating she didn't like being called a cheater. J.D. would then try to teach Cealey a lesson about how people would need to get to know somebody to get along better with them. She ultimately let Connor choose who would receive the Samadhi, and he picked Purple as planned.

However, Blue wouldn't do well in Fill'er Up, which all but guaranteed a third trip to Temple. For the occasion, Taylor wore an "undefeated" shirt underneath her Endurance shirt. While they would lose the first round to the Red Team, they won the following two rounds, breaking the Three Temple Curse.

In All Tied Up, Taylor received one karma vote via Aeriel; but because Connor got four, it gave Blue the advantage for the final Temple Mission. Taylor was happy about it, and believed Connor deserved to get as many votes as he did. However, they didn't capitalize on the thirty-second advantage, losing the mission, and ended up getting sent to Temple for the fourth time with Green. This time, they lost, and were the last team eliminated from Endurance: High Sierras. Before Taylor left, Cealey said she loved her.

Portrayal & Relationships[]

Taylor was depicted as very emotional, from the time where she faced the prospect of having Garret as a partner, to Cealey's claim about her being a cheater. However, she was determined to win, and was able to overcome the hate and adversity during the game, allowing her to go very far. Taylor was also very friendly with the other contestants except Cealey, and was angered because PROG is playing the game like a "popularity contest", which she agreed with Aric of the Yellow Team.

Taylor shares a good bond with Connor, and they worked well together in challenges. She states in It's A Drag that Connor was the only person she can trust. Taylor originally had a crush on Dakota, but it vanished after the team switch, when he lied to her. She was good friends with the Yellow Team, Darci, and Kelsey, the latter who used it as a strategy to spare the Purple Team from harm.
